nutrition tab

allows users to track daily water intake, and as users enter more cups of water drank, the bottle will move closer to the top of the page, appearing to fill. once the user’s goal is met, they are done and will receive an achievement. food intake can also be tracked here which will count calories for the user.

here, users can discover trending fitness topics, start a tailored workout plan to their interests and goals, track calories burned, and monitor weekly workout progress.

The app’s branding features double “i”’s to represent a connection between two people, who can be seen as a result of this budding solution to a common UX problem.

Fiitapp

Social media for the fitness community and a solution to a common UX problem.

From personal experience and my own user research, I noticed that there was a common UX problem within the fitness technology market: the lack of an all-inclusive fitness app. (One that does not require additional purchases and can stand on it’s own.) I was surprised that there were none on the present market, so I interviewed some friends and family of different age brackets/demographics, noted my own experiences, and got to work.

The result is a clean and modern interface design that features easy navigation where users can toggle back and forth between a community, achievements, user profile, nutrition, and workout page. Each page allows the user to track their progress. Key features include: discovering a workout buddy nearby in order to personally train and gain confidence in a new gym setting (or meet up with a current network of friends), find workout plans, discover the latest fitness trends, join community challenges, track nutrition / water intake, and more.

I am also currently working on a marketing campaign around this concept, so stay tuned for more.

In the mean time, check out the app!
